The Charlotte Paintball League will be running a Beginners Division tournament this year. Each team may have up to 5 team members on the roster with no player ranked higher than Beginner.

Registration will be $150 per team with paintballs starting at $40 per case. Higher grade paint will also be available at $45 and $50. Modified CFOA Rules will be in force. 100 point games with awards provided for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th, and 12th place finishes.

Prize packs will be in excess of $1,000 per event with Empire being the title sponsor for the CPL. The event prize packs for each event may be viewed from the Schedule page by clicking on the individual events. In addition to the individual event prize packs, guns will be given away after the June "Fire Under the Lights" games (end of Series I) and the October "Grande Finale" games (end of Series II). Accumulative scores will be reset after the June games. The first 4 games will be the Series I events and the last 4 games will be the Series II events.

All teams will play 6 games with the top 8 teams advancing to the semi-finals. Tournament day game schedule (Saturday) - Captains meeting at 9:00 am, with first game at 9:30 am. Tournament night game schedule (Friday) - Captains meeting at 5:30 pm, with first game at 6:00 pm.

This year's events will be hosted by BOSS Paintball Field. This field has X-Ball bunkers with Astro Turf playing surface, great for sliding. Bring your arm pads, knee pads, and gloves. NO METAL CLEATS will be allowed! A maximum of 20 teams will be registered per event so don't delay, register early! Registration information may be found here.
